Pamala Crabb grew up in Tobacco Valley Connecticut. She started painting as a young girl. Crabb was getting commissions by the time she reached high school. She  went on to study Contract Interior Design. Crabb spent 20 years in the field of  contract interior design before marrying and moving to Italy. Crabb spent seven years in Sardinia painting and exhibiting each year. Crabb eventually found her way to Maine and settled along the Mousum River. She has been painting and exhibiting her work in the New England area for the last ten years.

Crabb has chosen to use her gift as an artist to focus her work on the issues in our environment. She  has created a traveling exhibit of artists and marine scientists painting and speaking about the issues in the Gulf of Maine. She has in the past focused on political and social  issues. Most recently a traveling exhibit on Alzheimer's Disease.
